The best way for keeping the body fit and getting a good posture is to do core exercises. As time passes and we get older, the body gets weaker and you find ourselves in the situation of not being able to do the same things as we used to do before. Nevertheless, if the core muscles are strengthened, the entire body will be able to move with ease and perform daily tasks with no problem. So, if you want to do core exercises, but you don’t have time to go to the gym, here are some exercises that can be done at home whenever you want.

Place the hands behind the head and straight up the legs, making sure that you cross them at the ankles. Then, lift the torso toward the knees and contract the abdominal muscles. Don’t forget to inhale when you come to the initial position and to exhale whenever you contract upward. Repeat the exercise for ten times.

Continue by placing the other hand on the hip and make sure that the hips, shoulders and the head are all aligned. Then, slowly push the body toward the ceiling and return to the starting position. This is a single repetition and you need to do at least ten for the best results.
